G** forbid the brother or father were actually manipulated and not just cartoon villains from the start — nope, let’s just burn the whole family tree to the ground and call it a day. It’s wild how some of y’all demand complex stories but then throw a tantrum the second a character isn’t 100% evil with no backstory. If she doesn’t rip everyone to shreds regardless of the actual circumstances, you’re “annoyed”? Maybe give the story a chance to tell itself before deciding the ending needs to be a murder spree.
