@Pd2507 don't worry he didn't actually got executed. The perpetrator eventually got reveal to be the blonde male s** slave and the emperor manage to wake up and prove to stupid ML that MC and his entire family didn't have any bad intentions towards them or the country....
After this incident MC basically burn all his used belonging within the palace because he didn't want any reminder of his time with the ML but he also didn't want the ass**** to have any mementos of him.
After that he demanded the emperor to approve his divorce. The emperor agreed reluctantly after trying to convince MC that the relationship can be salvage, spouse need to be forgiving and patience and also the prince just made a mistakes bla bla bla.....
(Emperor did this because he knew of MC talents and he don't want to lose it especially when his son is a fuc**** idiot, but he had to relent eventually...)
