This omergaverse manga is not better than other omegaverse manga. Let's us not forget the appeal for this mnaga is that the omega is not like other omega aka he is physically strong but as shown in previous chapter which we should not forget the inami almost rapng tsugumi moment that he is exactly like the other omega. He become damsel in distress as soon as his love of his life alpha arrive.
Mid a** show. I rather waste my time watching mid piece
@Feather first point. Who shoved a stick up ur a**. Second mid piece excuse you. one piece is a master piece in world building and character development. I do agree that omegas are genuinely all the exact same yk week small and generally dumb. But you have mangas like this one and love shuttle. You just need to broaden your circle when it comes to types of manga you read.
@Feather Don't think of it like that. 'He was potrayed to be a different type of Omega but later after he fell in love he became a damsel in distress' that's not the message. When we build walls around ourselves (like Tsugumi did here, with 'willpower', (I'm not putting it under quotes cus I don't beleive him, it's because it's been emphasised that's his 'wall') to brave his way through a scary world that told him 'be afraid, you're weak' and he wanted to prove the world wrong) we tend to be stubborn with it and don't let anyone through, here it's about 'depending on someone for your base instincts.' But the thing is, when we dooo let someone in through that wall, it's hard to repair it. Once you get a taste of love and care, (as he was trying avoid here in case of romantic love more specifically from an alpha) it's hard to put back those walls again that shielded you from that. Many people have different reasons for walls and avoiding love is very much a common one (not exactttly what he was shielding himself from, but that's the biggest umbrella term). All you can hope is that the person who you let your walls down for will cover up that gap in your defence when you haven't learned to. It's a new situation when all his life he's been used to an intact wall, now it's broken in and he has to rely on help adapt. But that's what we do. We break our walls for others and hope they can help protect us from the 'scary' when we do. Is it inconvenient? Sure. But the whole reason you break your walls down is because you decided you'd be happier that way. It's a worthwhile risk for some and not for some. Sometimes the other person can't protect you and you'll get hurt. but in this case Yamada wasn't. It didn't make him weak, in fact it made him brave on top the strength he already displayed. He's tough, he's willing to learn and change. He's done the scariest thing you can do as a person with mental walls.
He didn't allow anyone to help him before because he got used to that, it's routine, it's second-nature, that's how walls work. The moment he let someone 'help' him that second nature was disrupted. Think of sleep schedules and jet lags. I think it was a very realistic reaction if author reasoned it like that. I'm pretty sure it was stated too, though in a more cliche manner. Thouuuugh I can't be confident of what the author meant to potray, that's my interpretation.
it’s not mid if you reinterpret the meanings. I’ve seen manga run with bottoms/FLs saying ‘I’m not like other bottoms/FLs’ then be exactly just like another Bottom/FL. But in my meeeagre expertise, this isn’t one. Ik it was a pretty cheesy way to explain it but it’s the best way I can describe it. If it convinced you, dont give up on this manga hastily TwT
