@Arty let me ask u this, say somebody told u they read straight romance, would u find them weird? Say somebody told you, they read yaoi, would U find them weird?
What about it is making u feel it's weird. The fact that's between men? the fact that it's a kinda love that is not accepted everywhere yet?
The only difference between straight romance and yaoi is that there will be no girl, instead it'll be a man, and realistically there will be no biologically born kids, though you can adopt. Other than that, it's all the same love in the end of the day, differing in how one expresses it.

In fact, I didn't have much of an opinion about gay romance, until I tried gay romance. One of the reason I love it cuz you can find couples on equal footing on all terms, also the prejudice of gender wouldn't come into play.
