"A metaphor is a figure of speech in which a word or phrase is applied to an object or action to suggest a resemblance", e.g. Time is Money - "we don't literally mean that time is the same as money, but we try to say that the value of time is equivalent to money, so don't waste time". Your opinion, as well as all others, is valid, too, but not universal: Jaehyuk in this webtoon seems to feel differently from you in real life, so let him have his way to cope with the situation. I don't want to know how you would feel if you had - in real life - a similar case, and I think you don't know either, 'cause it all depends on so many factors.
I feel with Jaehyuk, and I wholly support him. Revenge or not, that's a very possible outcome people in a relationship have to deal with when they don't pay (enough) attention to their partner, but only to themselves and their own misery/trauma. If you are too fixed on yourself, then you might not be ready for a relationship. That seems to be the case with Garam right now.
