Carcel knows that Ines has a fragile body that he cannot trust until the doctors confirm if it will be okay, the smart Ines didn't think well enough herself to take into consideration this fact that getting pregnant wouldn't just be the end of it.
He's literally doing this for her sake and nothing else alone.

@Derrie I don't know how waiting to verify a person who has been sickly her whole life can safely carry a baby to term before getting them pregnant is shady.

@Derrie is it that you have not read the mc backstory cause all of us saw that she has trauma from her two marriages with pregnancy and child birth since none of her children survive, she probably suffers from some kind of psychological backlash and she doesn't care about her self, so you want that kind of person to have a child AGAIN!!! and trying to help her overcome her problems first before getting pregnant is SHADY!! Isn't it much of a stretch

I understand that at the beginning of the story understand a cheetah and a liar but he changed and turned a new leaf and even though he had his redemption arc at the beginning he did just stop at being a better person he also started to understand her and how she feels and how she does things. No man is perfect and though is was not even ideal to cheat, he is determined to love her better than she loves herself and his thoughts are truly concerning her well being in all forms, so how is he being a hypocrite. They're are many cases of someone cheating in a relationship and the other forgiven which makes the other become a better person.
