Ok it's all starting to make sense ! So far, we've seen little A do absolutely insane sh** just because someone said "help me" (see the milton x milking machine chapter for example). So him and quentin both are test subject for this research on antisocial personality disorder (shown in earlier chapters with flashbacks of little A following a treatment from childhood where he has to report "how he feels" to a doctor)
but here it's not portrayed in the tropy way of "i'm mean to everyone and feel nothing" but rather it's "i'll help you, whatever the cost or consequences".
so we get Quentin murdering NPC that was bothering little A, and we get little A dreaming of keeping Kendrick under hypnosis forever so he can "help him"
