@Killin With Ki11Roy You know... eating really good food can help with the traumas of life (well maybe not the ones in the past few chapters... to this degree). Otherwise, we would have phrases like "Comfort Food", "Soul Food, or "Soup can warm the soul"... And, I just discovered Egg Nog... So I'm do pretty good!

@Killin With Ki11Roy I've said this before, but healing magic somewhat destroys our normal understanding of how much damage is actual damage.  For example, if you broke a bone of a small child when disciplining them in our world, that would be considered a high level of abuse because that bone will take months to heal and it may never heal correctly.  The concept of long-term permanent damage is the metric that we use to gauge if something is excessive or not.  However, what if that broken bone could be healed in moments and be completely fine?  Then perhaps breaking small children's bones as a form of discipline would no longer be considered excessive.

We have no idea the length to which healing magic or healing potions have the ability to heal both the body and mind.  It's possible that with zero physical evidence left of the treatment from the orcs, the mind would heal significantly faster.  Perhaps she hardly remembers what happened since she wasn't really conscious for most of it.  Perhaps all healing magic and/or potions also contain powerful soothing of the mind as well as the body (which would make a lot of sense).  

All I'm saying is that, healing magic/potions are extremely destructive to our normal sense of how people's mental states would reflect physical damage.

@Prinzinc  Or could be the food. That girl who got abused to within an inch of her life, suddenly tasted something so good, the trauma went away

@ModPla Good food and alcohol are always elixers to the soul.  I imagine that she had a sense of going from he** to heaven.  If it was me, I'd probably start to wonder if I had actually died and this was my version of heaven where everything turned out fine, everyone survived, and we had the best meal of my life.

@Killin With Ki11Roy I assume that the post essentially agreed with the above? I don't read reddit unless it shows up on a Google search result so my ideas above aren't crowed sourced but rather personally compiled.

@Prinzinc Nah it's just Japan' miracle cooking scene. Stronger than any magic with a single bite (the table is still full of food, they didn't finish !) 🙃

@Prinzinc In some worlds/works, healing magic is expensive, due to rarity or monopoly. That would also affect perception.
