@Ibsel You where well gaslighted. MSG has no taste, and it's used only one function that I know of: trick the the brain into thinking the body needs to eat more. It seems it kills neurons while doing so, leading to an extreme diversity of simptoms. Cardiac arrest is just one among many. From skin deceases to joints destruction, obesity, senility, depression, tooth falling off, colon inflamation and dozens more. It's not comestible, but like dust or the wood of a cherry's core, the body can manage small amounts. In a world full of pollutants, this amount can be the difference between symptomless and death, or worse. There is no excuse to add any of that stuff into our food especially to make a few bucks over people over eating. This is downrignt evil. Why some cultures put it voluntarily in their food is a mystery to me.
To each their own opinion I guess. And I'm not bothered by that one bit. Like what you just said, it's culture. You can't overwrite that fact to the masses of people.
Even if you say it all here, it's not going to make any difference.
My household has led a proper diet with less sugar and salt beause my mother has diabetes. so you can't say I'm being gaslit because you don't know my life and I don't plan on knowing yours but I'm being respectful and sharing information. Maybe you are too. But do word that more appropriately instead of gaslit. That pis*** me off ngl even if it wasn't your intention.
A product is only a tool. At the hands of the wrong people, especially those in power are the ones making this tool into a deadly item. People who don't know any better don't realize it until its too late.
Isn't MSG produced in Japan? Idk what they say about this. Just Google it, I guess.
