Comment on ChapterRelease That Witch - Chapter 151: Supper

I love how the asian cultures are like "YUM, DELICIOUS MSG", when its arguably one of the leading causes of heart attacks for americans(although the truth is, because our health regulations are so basic/extremely flawed. If it aint gonna directly be guaranteeed to kill you after you consume it, its probably allowed to be sold as food lol).

@Gemma Starstruck Too much of anything or everything is bad. Don't lump MSG as one of the main leading causes of health issues. It can also depend on each individuals case if they have pre existing health conditions, genetics, and acquired sickness throughout their lifetime that can contribute to a main sickness. Everything has a branching symptom not one direct. Not just with food but environment, their lifestyle and eating habits.

If they did put too much salt, oil, MSG into foods like just borderline too much then that's just them being unhealthy. Everything must be in a controlled/moderate amount especially towards food. Heart attacks can also be caused by too much junk food, sugary drinks, processed food.

So I don't agree with this thought because it's just on the surface value.
@Ibsel You where well gaslighted. MSG has no taste, and it's used only one function that I know of: trick the the brain into thinking the body needs to eat more.
It seems it kills neurons while doing so, leading to an extreme diversity of simptoms. Cardiac arrest is just one among many. From skin deceases to joints destruction, obesity, senility, depression, tooth falling off, colon inflamation and dozens more.
It's not comestible, but like dust or the wood of a cherry's core, the body can manage small amounts. In a world full of pollutants, this amount can be the difference between symptomless and death, or worse.
There is no excuse to add any of that stuff into our food especially to make a few bucks over people over eating. This is downrignt evil.
Why some cultures put it voluntarily in their food is a mystery to me.

To each their own opinion I guess. And I'm not bothered by that one bit. Like what you just said, it's culture. You can't overwrite that fact to the masses of people.

Even if you say it all here, it's not going to make any difference.

My household has led a proper diet with less sugar and salt beause my mother has diabetes. so you can't say I'm being gaslit because you don't know my life and I don't plan on knowing yours but I'm being respectful and sharing information. Maybe you are too. But do word that more appropriately instead of gaslit. That pis*** me off ngl even if it wasn't your intention.

A product is only a tool. At the hands of the wrong people, especially those in power are the ones making this tool into a deadly item. People who don't know any better don't realize it until its too late.

Isn't MSG produced in Japan? Idk what they say about this. Just Google it, I guess.

I can agree this world is fuc*** up.

@Ibsel I regret that it upset you. I didn't mean you were an idiot or anything. I studied the subject enough that I'm passed the worse part of the Dunning-Kruger effect.
I experienced one of these effects I did't even knew com from them well before I heard about them. Stopping them out of fear was a huge improvement in my quality of life, although the symptoms come back strongly when I make a mistake.
Also, diabetics are often advised to used edulcorants, which are much more powerfull to make people diabetic than sugar. Salt has a bad press but it seems there haven't been any serious study on the subject. Half of them goes each way, all of them very biased.
Many reported practicing fasting now and then or intermitent fasting will lower or even cure that suposedly incurable sickness. But depending on the type of diabet, risks are involved requiring competent, professional monitoring.
Finally, diabet is also a well known side effect of statins, along with high blood pressure that most people will suffer from after a few years of treatment, although it's officially a "rare" effect. Statins are useless and very profitable, so…
