I’ve never read the work either, but I’ve seen it come up in BL recommendation lists so often I assumed it was BL until recently. If I know someone is giving wrong information and care enough to correct the info, I will, but more often than not, I mind my business (because where I’m from, correcting usually means getting/starting an argument unless the other person is mature enough to realize you are just correcting a fact)
