That's such a lazy and ignorant insult. Being gay has nothing to do with being gender qu***. I'm a cis man and I don't know the gender identity of @Tangy, and I can say with certainty that it's irrelevant.
You claim you're talking to a wall, but talking to a wall refers to conversing with someone who is impossible to reason with or that ignores/doesn't understand your words. You haven't engaged in a conversation to claim you're being ignored, you certainly aren't being misunderstood, nor have you attempted to reason with @Tang.
It's interesting to me that you bring up the topic of bring liked unprompted. I'm openly gay and I've never had any problems with my family over it, and as for internet strangers, I could hardly care whether they like me or not. Do you? Do you tie your value as a person to the opinions of people you don't know or care about: opinions that have no impact on your life? I would hope not; I've always viewed people who do as insecure and pitiful for it.
