His attitude reminded me of an elderly lady I used to take care of.
She was always saying things like 'yeah I lost a baby during the bombing of London during WW2, but I was never fond of the brat'.... but she took ill one day with a severe UTI and was hallucinating badly. What came out of her during her fevered ramblings was that of 'My baby! Please tell me that he's going to be okay....'
Never doubt a mothers love
If we are not meant to have midnight snacks, why is there a light in the fridge?
@Hidecki she created a hard shell of feelings so that she wouldn't have to face the pain of losing her child. A mothers love, when it's there, is unparalleled. Also Ik someone's gonna be like "deep coming from a yaoi reader" bru you're reading this too and the stigma against storytelling with s** bro why are u alive?? BC OF S** WHY ARE WE SHAMED FOR LIKING TO READ IT ITS HOT. IM A DUDE TRYING TO GET SMASHED BY A DUDE STFU.
@Feeds Martie The dear lady though she survived the UTI has since left us (at the ripe age of 105!) but she was and remains a firm favourite amongst my charges. She was a headstrong lady who was though blind, had an outlook on life that was amazing! (And was the most cheeky and playful resident in my nursing home thatwe had at the time. Her one liners where definitely quick!)
a mothers love is amazing! But what I noticed with my charge was she tried to hide her pain with indifference so as to hide it from her family. Because she wanted them to remain strong in their hearts! (And during the blitz a lot of people died in the bombing)
she was truly an amazing woman who used to love trying to 'gently' invite the newer staff over to help her get ready for the day using the most angelic voice and manner, then swap her tone to that of a swearing sailors voice just so that she could try to catch the newbies out. She would apologise later in amongst fits of laughter. It was her way of trying to let people know that she wanted to play.
But that day she really upset us all. We knew how much it hurt her to loose a child and I can see our 'mother' hurting too if he looses Bub. So I'm hoping he can get back to Seth soon
