This is probably the most easily misunderstood thing in our modern dating culture today.  For some reason women in our current era somehow mistakenly believe that men are attracted to the same things they are attracted to.  Generally speaking, most men don't care about your education, how much money you make, your influence or popularity or even if you are skilled in any particular thing.  As Kevin Samuels used to say, men are interested in the things that women hate to give them (fit, feminine, friendly, faithful, kind and submissive).

Although I think women also value fit, friendly, faithfulness and kindness in men, women tend to judge men under an entirely different set of rules that are both exceptionally more diverse and stricter than men tend to judge women under (generally speaking, although "Chad" is going to make his own rules).

One of my favorite things to do years ago, was to work on servers and listen to Kevin take calls from women who were failing at their dating/love life and they would always start with talking about how successful and educated they were.  It was at that moment, I would always smile because I knew what was coming next.
