@Chives i guess because yaoi is made for males and yuri is made for girls but no on rly cares about that also it might make some of the male readers Uncomfortable when there are straight girls reading also if you are a straight girl and say "reasons why i read bl : men are hot"  ur basically fetizing them since you are saying that about gay males just so yk
