I don't think it was weakened in that her power came from her horns, but rather weakness in the way that anybody losing a limb is just going to not be able to give 100% even after the bleeding stops.

So other than because of the "plot" why is he stripping to secure full time at a McDonald's? He didn't seem particularly cash stressed and if je really is there's bound to be a dozen other jobs that would pay out the a*s for a highly attractive poster boy in their world?

I mean he understands the general principles of them and what goes into gun powder if not the exact ratio. H*l just knowing the bore needs to be rifled speeds up the tech advancement 100 years alone.

It's a laying the groundwork sorta chapter, important and necessary but not riveting.

So look I get he's having a bit adjusting to the new environment, but why for the first 5ish chapters is he acting like a guy from their world. Maybe it's a Korean thing, /shrug.

More likely it stopped treating her as a mage and more like a person holding 6 swords, aka top priority. 

Pretty sure in 2005 YouTube was just starting to become a thing.

More akin to a flying drone carrier, with the harpies as the drone units.

To be fair none of their battle strategy makes any sense. Why are they out front on even terrain with the monsters, when there are perfectly good walls at the city. If they absolutely need to be away from the city to give the elite assassins a shot why has sora not made them an earth works fort to fight from? Or h*l even trenches with earth work ramparts? He supplied them with a ton of potions, surely he could have chugged two of them and made some defenses.

While I appreciate the fight scene wtf aren't they fighting on top of the city walls? That's a huge height advantage and maybe 1/3rd of their foes have any sort of ranged attack. 

And that's why you never make luck your dump stat.

Yeah, no this is a horrible mindset, he's indulging her whims while encouraging her to ignore the lesson she was on the cusp of learning. It'd be one thing if he told her to go and try since it's already locked in, but to double down on her views while ignoring reality is just going to make her dependent on him cleaning up her messes. I mean for f*s she was almost s*x trafficked, that should require introspection into how she left herself vulnerable enough to be used.
