Well at first i thought the live-action was making up some bs in order to finish stuff up but yeah they did but well they fuc*** up ending cause they can't do it or dont wanna make it longer than 1 season. But apparently they did follow the novel except for fl and ml's cousin having unnecessary screen time. Yeah the grandma did it. Ml will find out afterwards actually the granpa finds out first keeps it for himself until later on.

Well, first grandmother hates her husband, and also dislikes MC and his brother because they are the sons of that “bi*** gold digger” (MC’s mother).
And the most important... she can’t stand that grandpa only has eyes for MC. Grandma loves her older son so much, and she is scared her grandson becomes the successor of the company....

Mc will learn few years later, when grandpa is dying at hospital and tell him... (grandpa investigated because there where something odd with the accident)

Well as it is based on a novel with the same name, well this is just a romance arc (no change after haitus or whatever some guy asked below) and they will be getting married pretty soon and you guys will have some actions during the wedding well after the romance arc they will definitely be more actions

Here is my theory:
Choyun was originally the one that the system or lords(forgot what it is called ) chose but dude went beserk or obsessed with power that he tried or betrayed the system or the system deemed him unfit to be a player something like that so they chose mc well they did said that there is benefit for them as well in early stages

Lmfaooo almost everyone is blaming carcel when they don't even know that ines' first ever and first love husband was carcel, not the emilio dude or whatever lmfaooo. It's just that they both don't remember that. And oh boy did carcel take care of a terminally ill(but i know that she dies in the ACTUAL first timeline) ines.
