@Bruh I totally agree with you, she played with him, planning to use him, but it ended up taking a turn she didn't expect. I understand she was desperate to survive, but it was still uncomfortable to see how she treated Eclis.

I have no sympathy for slavemasters. She made her bed when she bought a person, now she'll lie in it...
I hate Selena's grandma so much. I feel like the author is trying to portrait her as a wise old lady, but from my point of view she just looks selfish and absurd. She says she didn't have time to properly teach Selena how to manage the family business do to her health issues, but we can see she still has time to have pointless conversations with Eizer. (By the way, she shows everyone Selena's personal stuff???)
So, I've already commented this a few chapters ago, but I think I have to repeat myself (just for my own satisfaction). Eizer married Selena and took over Serenity to solve the financial problems of the business, and he did so. He was unconsidered with fl in the process but he didn't have the responsability to be otherwise (ngl). On the other hand, grandma (I kinda hate her) traded her granddaughter for the wellbeing of a company. I mean, her "solution" to the problem was comple trash.
I have mixed feelings about this story and characters. I empathize with them for instance but I also kind of hate them most of the time. I'm not trying to judge them as good or bad cause I know both Selena and Izer have their points of view and reasons to act the way they do, I just judge there attitude toward each other and how that ends up affecting themselves (they're both stupid and inconsiderate). Nevertheless, I do want to remark that the grandma gives me more of a bad than a good impression. I kinda blame her for all this, she could have done so many things differently. (Kind of hate her, not gonna lie)
My problem with action genre having romance is that generally writers that write action are terrible at writing romance. The love between the characters is usually really lame and simplistic. Don't get me wrong, if they could make it good, it would be great. In the case of Solo Leveling, I finished the novel and red the webtoon a couple of times and I can assure you that this love plot between Cha Hae In and Sung Jin Woo adds nothing to the story, it's just fanservice to make the MC look cooler, which I think it's completely unnecessary.
How does she not set everything on fire??? It's really annoying how submissive she is, ugh 😩!!! Like, COME ON!!! DO SOMETHING, G** DAMNIT!!! This is so frustrating really.
Talking about trust when you didn't even tell your lover your last name or where are you from. I mean, how can you not feel insecure when you know nothing about the person you love?, in addition to his crazy ability to disappear, it's a really unsettling combo. (But I guess they're both in the wrong)
I'm here to make a quick comment: Jooin in Korean means owner or master, so when the pince said "my jooin", that was a reference to the title of the manhwa.
