He could have, like, literally emptied it instead of setting it down right by the sink the moment mc entered. Stupid ass****.
So basically ml let him suffer for nothing during all those years while collecting the debt money mc paid every month to those loan sharks who actually didn't need it. I have big mixed feelings about it because it's being an absolute ass**** (yes even with what ml suffered and why he did that and even if he ended up regretting it) and I am waiting to see if he collected that money to reimburse himself or if he set it aside to give it back to mc later. I am waiting to see how it unfolds because so far mc is completely dependent on ml and it's bothering me. They never have stood on equal grounds and it's time that dynamic changes.
Don't raise it. How long do you need to keep being fuc**** stupid like this? You're in NO position to have a child, the guy obviously doesn't want to have anything to do with you anymore, but somehow keeping it is still an option? I just can't with fuc**** stupid a** people, it pis*** me off so much. Yeah, go ahead, keep it, bring another miserable child born into poverty into the world, with no support system, no one to rely onto beside maybe your omega roommate who for some reason does seem to give a da** about you; it's not like he won't feel like he has to stay to help you even though he had NOTHING to do with your completely irresponsible decision.

I am fuc**** done with that mc. I am officially numb to his suffering.

@Nordremo confirmed by BWAT on social media. No mpreg....
I don't get all the comments about how it's not mpreg, we basically know nothing of how anything works in Shuraka's nation and especially what are his powers and abilities exactly, and Tei is also completely ignorant of them; him thinking he would have been better off being a woman because he could have Shuraka's child doesn't confirm anything beside the fact he believes Shuraka can only have a child with a woman.

We literally don't know sh** guys, come on!

Edit: I thank the person telling me it was confirmed by the author on social media, I don't follow them here and the comments were unclear as to where they got that information from. So my bad guys, that's on me.

Sahan - Ch. 16

This is in moments like these that I see how vastly laws can differ from country to country. In mine, that sh** would never happen because only direct family would be able to receive "compensation money", meaning parents and children of the person. The uncles and aunts and even siblings are considered "collateral" and are not entitled to anything. They would only in the case of an actual succession on the things the deceased person owned, and they would only because they would be the only ones left, and even then, they wouldn't gain much because the further in the bloodline of the deceased you are, the more you have to pay taxes on the amount you're supposed to receive.

That's why Korean succession laws always completely baffle me.

Sahan - Ch. 15

I am glad Sahan put his foot down when it comes to Philip, because he's NOT his responsibility, and I hate that his family are trying to pressure him by hinting he could attempt to take his own life if Sahan doesn't come. It really sounds like that toxic boyfriend/ex that threatens to kill themselves if you break up or don't come back with them, and we all know catering to those people is the LAST thing to do.

Also, I was wondering if him and Philip got close during their forced cohabitation in space, but from what I gathered in this chapter, it doesn't really seem to be the case: Philip seems to have slept most of the time in the capsule and waking up only occasionally while Sahan took it upon himself to be the one mostly awake because there only was that one capsule. He was left on his own devices and had to deal with that tremendous mental and psychological strain all by himself, and yes, there's admittedly something beautiful to find in the fact he factorised Heegeon's birthday as a prime number to keep himself sane but at the end of the day it's a horrifying last resort to turn to because he was the stronger one of the twos.

And now that they're back and Philip is still pulling sh** like this, I do hope he will stand by his decision to not accommodate the ones who gave him a measly million dollars (yes I am STILL hung up on that) for his troubles and still seek to exploit his kindness for their selfish convenience. You make BILLIONS, you can pay for the best specialists in the WORLD to take care of your traumatized offspring, don't keep trying to use their accidental spacemate as a free therapist. Fuc**** rich people, EAT THEM FOR REAL.

@ItsNotOverYet Same issue here lol And being able to leave comments to have discussions is the point, I don't think it can be "too much" x)

That's the issue I have so far with Tei: as I commented on a previous chapter already, Tei doesn't ask questions, and it's doing nothing to solve the communication issues, so the misunderstandings keep piling up. He's very passive for now, probably thinking he's powerless anyway, but it's not by answering his own questions that he's going to get actual answers and clarifications about the overall situation, be it his or Shuraka's. I find it very frustrating lol

@ItsNotOverYet

It's fine, it's fine, I understand x) I sometimes worry too if I am expressing myself correctly because English isn't my first language to be honest...

I completely agree with your explanation, this chapter was all about symbolism and the parallels with Mellia's tale, which is heartbreaking because Shuraka was busy surviving and as a result has had no time to experience a deeper understanding of what love can be like. It's obvious he was a child that had to grow too fast, and that's why he still clings to things of comfort from his childhood (Tei, Tei telling him fairy tales from his homeland), because his adult life has none. The very fact he was relieved he "didn't have to stay a child" to be loved shows he probably hates his adult self because he was never shown actual love as one so far; he only remembers being cherished as a child, and he was clearly afraid Tei wouldn't like his adult self.

For now, he doesn't have the means to understand that love doesn't need to be romantic to be strong, and that's why he gave Tei that heartbreaking response: you don't love me as a romantic partner, so you wouldn't be able to find me. There's a mountain of other things to say about that statement and what it says about how was the last decade for him, but we'll have to see how horrifying exactly in the future chapters...

And it's fine, I like having a discussion x)

@ItsNotOverYet I get your point, but "showing up" cannot be considered having meaning in itself because as was stated, it was regardless of his will. That's my point. I do not deny the part where indeed their relationship under such circumstances could have developed way differently (like them not bonding and staying strangers or worse, having resentment born from it).

@Alligator mom It would be wonderful if they do, but it's rarely the case in such stories, so I really don't have high expectations the ending won't be anything different than miraculously becoming pregnant and having biological children

@rdlee123 I think the point is, even if one million dollars is an amount most people won't ever have even if they work their whole lives, compared to what he endured and the irreversible consequences of it, it really is a ridiculous amount. For a company that makes billions every year, it's not even pocket change to them, and that's outrageous they would dare suggest such an amount to begin with. Heegeon had every right to be angry on behalf of Sahan.
