@gabbz Basically, if you read the novel, it's mean to be a complete plot twist. That's why that chapter was made as normal looking as possible with only little hint just enough to pick people interest on Jaeha's role. Just imagine when the novel version of this chapter first came out back then, not much information and no manhwa adaptation, the leader of Kpop group Flow, Jaeha whom asked MC if he's okay, some reader probably think if this is a potential tsundere second male lead, turn out, he's a jerk boyfriend. In fact, if you look at discussion at some spoiler site, some novel reader was truly surprised.

@gabbz Trust me, I read the spoiler, there's no deep meaning behind it. It just, back then MC has no memory of OG Sihyeon, that's why there's no reaction MC basically is inside a dead body that continues to function because another soul claimed it. It was only when MC unlock the memory inside the brain by chance like here. What happened here in this chapter is MC was forced by OG Sihyeon's brain to dream where he experience it himself what OG Sihyeon experience back then.

Spoiler!
At some point it became clear that OG Sihyeon has a sponsor (the members didn't know it's Jaeha or even the fake boyfriend relationship; they simply believed that there's a guy who's sponsoring Sihyeon's debt or someone's debt he's shouldering in exchange for "special services"—you know how beautiful Sihyeon is, right?). Even within the story, the member feeling changed from concern to frustration when Sihyeon continued this toxic relationship or business with no effort to change and even got angry at them for trying to help when it started to affect the group performance, image, and later even fandom. To be fair, OG Sihyeon is scared if his members learn he gives "special service for sponsorship" to a rich client for Jaeha's sake, they will find him disgusting. Until his death, he truly loved his member. The member's guilt is basically that they gave up trying to help him and left him alone as OG Sihyeon asked them. When they saw OG Sihyeon's dead body in the hospital bed, they thought they should have been more aggressive with him, even if it meant more fights and conflict with Sihyeon, if it meant helping Sihyeon.

@bibliophage I know it isn't, but you have to understand that OG Sihyeon's basically fall in love at first sight and grow obsessed with Jaeha.
Spoiler!
He's quite literally blinded by love. Jaeha, meanwhile, never loved him; in fact, he quite literally hated Sihyeon. It was precisely because Sihyeon was like this that Jaeha was willing to manipulate Sihyeon's feelings, accept his confession, and pretend to be his boyfriend, because he doesn't have to coerce Sihyeon or do anything, and Sihyeon will do anything for him, even if it means being paraded like a s** slave to rich clients and being abused himself. To be fair, OG Sihyeon was at fault himself for continuing to follow the guy who clearly never liked him from the very beginning until his end, but it's just that he's too pitiful that no one around him could blame him. His level of devotion too Jaeha is abnormal and unhealthy. You see in this chapter that OG Sihyeon was originally well-liked in the group, but remember the cold atmosphere with OG Sihyeon we saw previously from the members' memory? Basically, the member basically begged Sihyeon to share his problems with them, but OG Sihyeon refused to involve his members.

Spoiler!
Sanyu has some relationship with Jaeha (OG Sihyeon's sh*tty boyfriend). There was a time when Sanyu and Jaeha almost debuted in the same group. They were together all throughout their trainee days. Basically, Jaeha wants to see Sihyeon's expression if one of his members sees him in this condition. You know how OG Sihyeon hides his suffering from his members and is afraid they'll find out. So, Jaeha, being the twisted person he is, decided to bring Sanyu, whom he knew personally, to Sihyeon and open Sihyeon's blindfold so that Sihyeon can see Sanyu in front of him.

Sanyu's POV when he heard Sihyeon ended up in hospital:
When Sanyu found Sihyeon blindfolded, he was clearly aware of what state of mind Sihyeon was in and that he didn’t want to hear anything. He even knew that Sihyeon wouldn’t want to talk about it. Yet he calmly told Sihyeon that they should return to the dorm and talk it out. Even after all that, if he was still concerned, he should have taken the car keys or at least caught hold of him that day (basically, he believed he's a bystander who contributed to his Sihyeon's suffering by doing nothing). The next thing he heard about Sihyun was that he was in the emergency room. He felt his heart and bones ache to see him lying alone and cold. Just when he thought that it was all over, like a lie, he miraculously revived the next day. It was from that day on; everything Sihyeon did made him regret it. He also noticed the change in personality, tone, and even habits. Although they had the same pale face, it was like he had become a completely different person.

Guys, I read the novel and I'm going to said it early here, Kim Iwol is actually someone with
Spoiler!
PTSD. His parent is abusive, and his former company in previous timeline, the Haepsong Industry is a black company and his boss, Manager Nam is a terrible person. He forced Iwol, our mc, to become a proxy fan for Spark for his daughter and do every video, consert, editing, pictures and everything for Spark, never acknowledge Iwol effort and keep trash talk him and gaslight him for decades. Of course his members never learn about Iwol past, but Iwol mental health later become issue when Iwol keep trying to pretend everything is alright. The first time the member noticed this issue is when Iwol helping song distribution to the member but Iwol unknowingly exclude himself. The second time is when one member caught Iwol collecting all hate comments from hater and noted it as "thing to improve" and third is when they find many pill used by Iwol and hidden by him in his bag, you know the pill used by people with anxiety and mental health issues.

@No need MC was shown OG Sihyeon's past. In simplest explanation, OG Sihyeon's being manipulated by his boyfriend (that blonde hair, an idol btw and has already appear in previous chapters) to become a toy for rich clients.

@JPANIME Yeah, one thing this woman failed to realize is Pantheon is basically a religious organization disguised as a hunter guild to operate a religious knight order legally, and Leon is technically the organization's highest authority. Even if the South Korean government forced him to resign and banned him from becoming a guild master, the guild would probably just elect a figurehead, and Leon would probably remain as its unofficial highest authority.

@Pierre André Turner If Leon actually resigns, the existing Pantheon Guild would just be an empty husk, and all members would just follow him. If they try to ban him from becoming a guild master, a puppet would be installed, and Leon would still hold the actual authority. After all, his heart is where the gods rest. The member of the guild might seem like a disbeliever, but they're probably the most loyal follower, having actually seen the worst of the demon, the gods, and other Grail Knights and even experienced the Leon of the past. Not to mention, they are now controlling Haram, and judging by the fact they freely hand over the divine flame to all citizens to identify demons and kill them and even stop the demon attack, they're probably quite popular in Haram, meaning they could just move out of Korea to Haram. But I doubt they're going to do that; Pantheon seems to be equally popular with Koreans, and Leon would probably just bulldoze through the public hearing.

Lmao, what resignation? The whole guild is basically a religious organization disguised as a hunter guild to operate a religious knight order legally, and as the highest authority, Leon is practically the organization's equivalent of both the highest commander and the pope, which means even if Leon actually resigns, the religious organization wouldn't disappear.
