@questionthings I 100% agree with you, I mean maltier so far hasn't gotten any leads on who he really is.. he must've done something in the past to be called a sc*mbag by the prophet.. and some how got his whole history in this word removed.. and it's pretty suspicious that Shane is part of the said prophecy that the prophet stated..
Like Shane is some kind of key for an incoming disaster..
Also, the few first chapters, the first one, maltier is supposed to be our player and not shane, but somehow he had gotten himself inside the game, replacing maltier..
And it just so happens that he had maltier in his first soul summoning ritual, yk yk? So now Shane has unintentionally got himself involved with the prophecy.1

Y'all I really think that maltier is a failed hero who (possibly?) committed $uicide, I mean the apology in the 2nd chapter? And the fact that he seemed like hes in a depressed state makes me think that he didn't attend his duties well and (maybe?) coused a large amount of deaths of the soldiers he (possibly) commanded.. making his mental health deteriorate?
Oh, and the fact that he seemed somewhat weaker in his past life, you know? The mention of him roughly remembering that he used to be more slow and clumsy when welding his sword makes me think it's because he was fighting something that was much more stronger than him makes more sense that it will be the cause of his death.
And the memory loss... In my opinion, he never had the will to remember it.. like the system explained that the resurrected hero's always had their memories intact after being revived from the dead once again, so it made me theorize that he never wanted to remember what he was in the first place. Or... Maltier already know who he is and he has some intentions, Idk I just woke up from a hang over and it's honestly so hard to make up sentences in my mind.
Honestly if I was the mom here and like I am very superstitious I'd do the same, I'd love my babies to the point that I'd die for them.. so I kinda understand the mom if you look into her perspective...
Ngl I think that dude is just very worried for both of them like, dawg did you see those accidents that was happening a few chapters ago??? And besides, he didn't said he wants them split up, he probably is just very aware of like, the LGBTQ discrimination going on ... I mean if I was the best friend of one of them I'd still support them but still be really worried for them because of all the strange things happening around them.
Honestly, I think blonde and the red hair is both wrong in this situation, I mean, the red head should've really taken care of his stuff and not leaving them in random places... And the fact that he blamed it towards the blonde itself speaks a whole lot about his issues (because you know? He accused him of stealing his laptop..) ... While I think that the blond guy does have some reason on why he kept keeping the missing stuff.. (probably to teach the guy not to be forgetful and careless) it's still wrong to keep them.. although on the other side, if there's a scenario where the blonde kept returning the lost stuff.. the outcome will be that the red hair will be actively relaying on blonde to get his missing stuff for him. (And trust me, it will get annoying)
And this just proves that the red head isn't ready to live on his own yet, let alone with roommates since he is very immature and always put blame on others without even considering what happened before (you know? That scene when he forgets that his laptop is laying around the kitchen? And he eventually realized that it wasn't there when he checked his desk?)
Honestly, at this point, he should've just endured his mother Because his things are much more safe than in a dorm room.
