Is it just me or does this relationship between her and him seem a little different than the one that was originally kind of portrayed in the first chapter? The first chapter kind of gave off the vibe that he wanted her romantically; not like a "father" figure.
🤷 maybe its just me. It kind of feels like the story started off one way but then is now veering off in a different one just to either keep going, or to try to make it seem a little more intense.

I was half hoping that she was crying because she was getting married but smacking the portrait because it was a gift from someone she had feelings for & the person understood she had no choice & didnt tell her, but they were all "im happy for you" kind of thing.

I think I just passed out by the shock of this chapter. Lol love it!

I feel he's gonna have some issues this next chapter... did no one notice he has a sounding rod in??? Lol

Knew it. You could see in the portrait beforehand that the mom wasnt happy, but the dad was looking at her so lovingly.
I honestly think the dad had some feelings & then once he married and imprinted, if became even more intense to even obsession.

Is it just me or did anyone think that the ML's mother looks so unhappy in their portrait? Like SHE was a part of a political marriage and his dad obviously didnt have a choice because after their marriage and having their fun, he imprinted and "fell in love"?

I love these little side stories sprinkled here and there in the chapters lol

Thing is, Enoch offered to have her come with them. He asked her to & she said no. He even told her where they were gonna be for a bit if she changed her mind.
Freaking so wrong that she would basically sell out her daughter to make sure her new child wouldn't go to war.
I love this cutie pie, but she needs to suffer. Suffer and feel the same way FL's dad feels about worrying for his daughter's life. He sacrificed more for her than she ever freaking will for her kid.

I like how the assistant (right?) cares and is trying to kind of hint to him not to get too involved with the CEO.
I hope that the CEO realizes that maybe he starts to like him, but its kinda seeming like hes enjoying the innocence & kind of grooming our cutie pie.
Ima smack him if he hurts him. I don't like it. *insert growl here*
