@Plantuminium if you are financially independent i recommend you cut off your father. I know it must hurt being that you lost your mother just a year ago and it would be losing your only remaining parent, but the dude has been living a double life. If he disrespected your mom and you in that way (introducing you his mistress only a year after your mother died), he was never a good person in the first place.
I also recommend that you talk to the woman that your dad cheated with, maybe she did not know he was married (i doubt it tho), and if she finds out at least she can break up with him and dodge a bullet. If she did know fxck both of them and just go on living your life.

Dude you really are worrying me right now. I am serious when i say that you should go to a psychiatrist and get meds. Only therapy is not enough. I can understand why you might be adverse to taking pills but depression is not just a feeling but it literally affects your brain structure and your serotonin levels. Thats why therapy does not work because you also need to take treatment.
