that's actually why I decided to look this series up :)

classy.
still using that word to insult people in 2024 is... A choice.
furthermore, it shows your shallow understanding of morality. It's weird to see someone using a slur which is basically just pejoratively calling a man "gay," when he is STRAIGHT, and his sexuality and desire as a terrible man to subjugate women especially powerful ones he is attracted to, is literally fundamental to his evilness.... an abusive, vile, tyrannical man who rapes women... and the worst thing you could think to call him is "gay." Wild.
...Can someone share some interesting abo manhua?
...some of my fave art from the series so far tbh
she was just being treated as a brood mare makes this hurt 😢
...well that was a sexual assault 😥 enjoy whatever you want in fiction, but remember everyone: IRL, this is assault. It doesn't matter if in-seob loves him, and even if his body reacts or whatever, that's not consent.
(kinda wish there was a warning above this chapter, just in case some people were unaware that this series has graphically depicted sexual assault
This manhua covers surprisingly serious topics and I'm so proud of it for that. Our queen is clearly suffering from body dysmorohia and a potential eating disorder. I've only seen this portrayed this well in one other manhua, despite sooooo many women (and men tbh) dealing with this. A lot of other stories always treat this storyline like "I was fat before but now I've transmigrated and I'm perfect!" And it's like... no. First of all, imo she was great before, it's okay to not be stick thin. You're a worthwhile person no matter what. He**, she would've been worthwhile and amazing even if she had been fatter.
But also, if you hate yourself, that doesn't go away, even if you magically change bodies. It's a persistent part of mental illness that requires a lot of therapy to treat. I'm glad that her love for Blanche seems to be helping her snap out of it, and realize how toxic this standard is. hopefully she can break this toxic cycle
(I'm okay sad endings, but rushed and ill-explained ones... not so much)
but the phantom didn't hide razors, he just kidnapped Christine instead 😅
