i know this is a manwha after all but this is something that is so realistic so i dont know why people think about dropping it. of course its frustrating to us and of course we dont want to see them fight but its so understandable. they r very different from each other and dont know each other that well either so of course there will be misunderstandings. seo is a complex character with trust issues and ptbs regarding work related relationships since something really bad happened in the past which was hinted pretty clearly. beak is head over heels for him but cant approach seo openly since he knows it would make him retreat, thats why he tried to play it cool which seo interpreted as him retreating from whatever they builded up, so he cut ties before he gets hurt since he caught himself developing some sort of attachement and trust towards beak, also keep in mind his need of controlling situations. this is something very real and true to his character and its supposed to make us feel anxious. yall act like its forced and comes out of nowhere for plot and drama when really it makes so much sense. if u cant handle it not being just straight forward getting better and all rainbows and butterflies without hardship u shouldnt be reading this, honestly. the authors writing and portraying of complex emotions and thoughts is peak and spot on for the characters personality design and it would be so very disappointing if the author would just ignore their personalities clashing just for the sake of us readers getting only good, funsies and hot scenes. u cant expect a cat and a dog persona to harmonate perfectly. sorry for the wall of text, lets just hold hands thru these hard times and wait together for the clouds to let the sun come back to us, okai? 🤝🏻🤍

i dont have anything against slow burns, i quiet like em but we r chapter 50+ in and all we got were 2 pabels of some kind of kiss or something. no real conversation or incidents or snything. it feels weird because everytime therese a tense scene it just ends without a bang. its edging but not in a good way, honestly. im not saying its because of the lack of sm** but the lack of actual interactions between ML and MC. kinda sad.

its ok, i wasnt trying to bash on omegaverse but its just a fact there r many stories solemnly written to be smutty in that alpha omega dynamics. thats why i call it fastfood sm** stories. i do LOVE bl. but also i have to say, yes, her body is oversexualized but if we r honest, nearly all of the ml in bl r too. so just because they r men, packed to the max to be sexually attractive, doesnt mean its better than an over sexualized woman. so it would be pretty double standard of me to judge that here if u get me

i rly dont want to be a hater but objectively this story is really poorly written imo. based on basic known emotional responses to actions it just makes no sense? the emperor did nothing, rly nothing that would made up for what he has done to rhe mc. we r talking about stuff like killing his mother, raiding his village, non sexual violence to a point where a snaps his bones, sexual violence & ra**, kidnapping, imprisonment PLUS he tried to kill him & the man he said he loves/wants (his brother) etc. like yea emperor daddy is freaking da** hot but just because he showed a little gentleness by NOT HURTING HIM (helloho?) or giving gifts etc. it still makes no sense mc falls for him. the developement and insight of mcs mind is rly not well written. he wants to flee on at all costs from his rapist, his loverboy frees him but ultimately he leaves him again for the black flag because of WHAT? stockholm syndrom at its finest? man, i rly wished there was a better/more sense makong plot for this story. :< sry for the rant, its just frustrating
