@Rin un they're suffering a great famine bruh what do you want them to trade when they can't even feed their own people?

@Harry Godspeed they literally could ask for money from other kingdom and repay it back after they use it to like help grow crops or land

@Rin un yeah cuz the other kingdoms are totally kind and helpful.

@Harry Godspeed did they even try before waging war? Don't think so cuz they never showed scenes of i

@Harry Godspeed they could've also even tried to migrate the people out of the kingdom or something. There is like so many options to do before even trying to kill other

@Rin un the great famine was sudden so their leaders didn't have time to react. The people were hungry and their leaders was very desperate. Not to mention, there was the curse of the necromancer

@Rin un they also were borrowing resources from other sources but even that method had its limit, so they were literally really out of options. Even their rations was only going to last for 3 months

@Harry Godspeed o

@Harry Godspeed The great famine was not sudden, it lasted for 5 years.
And as for trading?
They can train their people as mercenaries and send them to other countries to earn money.
They can sell their people as slaves to other countries.
Starting a war saves their pride as a country.
Just depends on what kind of villain/anti-hero you want to be.
