Comment on ChapterWet Sand - Chapter 101
& one last thing before I shelve this story for good: y'all are more upset at Jo fans and Ian fans (despite this LITERALLY being Ian's story) for critiquing the story and its inconsistencies than at the author who literally played in ur face. Your endgame is nothing beyond rushed and not even this nothingburger epilogue satisfies that because otherwise you wouldn't be begging for side stories. You didn't even get the sm** you love so much. There is no development of TJ and Ian's dynamic and there won't be bc Doyak said she isn't doing side stories (unless she lies again). Pointing out a lack of development is not mocking TJIan's relationship, it's a literal fact, because this author gave all meaningful moments of romance and development to the 2nd male lead. Why open a restaurant instead of something relating specificallyto what TJ and Ian shared together? Because WE DIDN'T GET TO SEE ANYTHING BETWEEN THEM other than violence, arguments and sm**! If considering us the enemy is easier to stomach than considering that the author rushed tf out of this ending then so be it chile.

I have never been a Doyak glazer and has been talking sh** about her writing all season 3. You talk about romantic moments between Joian but let's break some of it down.

The rooftop stargazing where Ian subconsciously admits he's still in love with TJ present tense, then lying to Jo changing it to past tense. Jo even recalls this memory saying he knew Ian was lying to himself back then. How pray tell was that a romantic moment for Joian where Jo learns Ian is IN LOVE WITH TJ

Their first time having s** where jo sl** shames him. Tells him he know him better than he knows himself and basically said good people belong with good people, when Ian is one of those "bad" people he deems he shouldn't be around. But sure Ian tells him he only pursued him for good time, not a long time and instead of walking away he jumps Ian's bone and basically acts like all the other men in Ian's life who only wants him for his body 🙄

Jo coming back to Ian after being dumped as a one night stand agreeing to be on Ian's roster telling Ian to talk things out and not run away only to prevent Ian from talking things out with TJ, hypocrisy at it's finest. Such a romantic moment of losing self respect just to be a side di**.

The infamous tent scene where Ian wanted to check something by kissing Jo. Seems cute. He was being receptive to starting things with Jo only because TJ left him. Oh this feels like the first time only to get ruined by Ian coming to the thought of TJ and Jo continued to fu** a passed out Ian and using his face as a cumrag, something Ian never consented to EVER! And jo felt no remorse whatsoever. Peak romance!!!

@Dylan Jo basically moved himself into Ian's apartment. But what does he learn about Ian during that time? Did he asked about his family. Why TJ is his only family left. He did ask about Ian's hobbies. His likes and dislikes. What new information about Ian did Jo learn during their cohabitation. Absolutely NOTHING!!! All they did was fu** like rabbits and you want to say that TJYW only had sm**. They had 20 years of friendship, surpassing that of lovers and family. Joian had a surface level relationship where Ian can't even reveal his true self. Where Toby told Jo how lonely Ian looks. Why is Ian lonely with Jo practically living with him. Why did Jo admit that Ian's mind was elsewhere in when they were together. Why was Jo scared to tell Ian he got accepted into college and even feared getting dumped. What makes you so sure of Joian's love when even agreeing to leave with Jo, Ian had to factor in TJ as part of his choice? Peak romance when your heart and mind is tied to another man and Jo himself knows this but lets continue
@Dylan i love you for this, they won't understand they're so delusional like their fav character

@Dylan

what are you willing to give up for me, EVERYTHING. Sounds nice doesn't it but Jo doesn't even understand the weight of the word. It's followed up with rough s** where Jo even admits Ian was being self destructive. Called him broken. He fell into Ian's provocation. Now is not the time for s**! Ian was using s** as an escape and we get the the blue eyes blue flame quote yall love so much. I tried copying and pasting the analysis in here but manga buddy won't allow me to post it. It must have triggering words. Since you won't listen to a TJ stan, go ahead and have AI analyze that quote for you and ask if Ian was feeling suicidal and I'm pretty sure Ai will agree with me. Cause it's not romantic as you all seem to think it is. Don't believe me, ask a super computer.

I forgot the flower store scene. Ian finally noticed a flower shop. He thinks about the 1 Tulip Jo got to decorate his apt. But he doesn't buy the flower. So romantic that Jo has literally never received anything from Ian.

Aunt Bella house where Ian tells Jo he feels better when he looks at him, but the entire time Ian is there he looks hella out of place and uncomfortable.

and the real super duper romantic moment between them was the alley scene where Ian literally runs off leaving Jo in the middle of a crime scene ALONE. His first instinct is to run away instead of protecting Jo.

@Dylan we get Ian reuniting with TJ and telling him he was MISERABLE without him. Huh what miserable. Ian got his domestic normal day to day bliss with puppy dog Jo and yet he was MISERABLE. Wow how romantic indeed. Then he proposed running away with TJ not giving a sh** about Jo. He runs off again only for Jo to find him awwww he remembered what ian said about it being a good hiding place, but he also said if i knew you'd come I wouldn't be here lol. But sure let's go to your school together but first let me go pick up my couple's jewelry with TJ at my house first lol!!! Cause I can't start a new life with you without my prize possession. How can you read all of this and deem Ian is in love with Jo? Yall are so delusional for real! You talk all this nonsense all loud and proud and wonder why you got people disliking your comments.
@Dylan

One side clearly lacks reading comprehension and it shows. You focus on literally the dumbest detail and ignore the actual message of the story. You misunderstand, mischaracterize and misinterpret the entire story. Not just little details here and there. Like literally the ENTIRE story and don't even understand why Jo never had a chance to be endgame EVER! You all praise Doyak for her writing when you thought Jo was endgame and all turned on her when he got dumped. You didn't question her writing until your side lost. You call all those Joian moments romantic when none of them compares to the pinkies entwining in the cab ride home. Doyak was unfair to TJYW but everyone of their scene is emotionally charged. You feel the weight of their love and yearning, the good and the bad. They have a toxic codependency but there's no denying they both loved each other and the feelings were always mutual. With Joian it was Jo doing the most and Ian just going with the flow. Not actively choosing Jo but only because TJ was gone. Like why would you want Jo to be with someone who can't reciprocate his love? Yall are not Jo stans. Yall are just TJ haters and there's a difference.

even with the endgame confirm your side still wouldn't accept it. Went to harass Doyak and threaten her and doxx her. Screaming she's a liar and misled you. Saying she changed the endgame for money. Like the amount of asinine things I've read coming out of your side is beyond ridiculous. Yall did not once question whether you were wrong in your understanding of the story. And chose to blame the author instead. Pretty fucken arrogant and pathetic of you ask me because you didn't get your endgame. We want proper explanation. We want plot holes filled. We want a properly executed story which she failed to deliver. You wanted an entire story changed. We are not the same.

@Dylan ending so bad tht ppl r fighting and arguing instead of being emotional and happy
@Dylan PREACH! TESTIFY!
The way to you articulated and poignantly stated all these facts, chefs fuc**** kiss! Jo stans will never understand, they are delusional asf.
@Mishu Rathi

most people spent 4 years of their lives invested in the story. So I can understand and share in their frustration. I've only started reading for the past 2 years. But the amount of times I get told by a Jo Stan that Im illiterate, I don't care about the story and only care about sm** and TJ being endgame is ridiculous! Yes my couple became endgame, but in such an unsatisfying way!!! How can anyone be truly 100% happy and satisfied with an ending like that? Which only proves that TJ stans do care about the overall story and not just about endgame.

I gotta give it to Jo stans for being the most unhinged and delusional people I've had the displeasure to come across. Instead of taking the L and STFU they continued to rage and rant with their delusional takes and continuing the fan war.

"TJ was dreaming, Ian was saying I love you to Jo not TJ, tjian are temu version of Joian lol. Ian left Jo because he was so in love with him. He was protecting Jo from TJ."
In the end even  those "precious and romantic" Joian moments weren't solely theirs 😂😂😂 Doyak was definitely trolling them with that one.

but you know what my boys got

20+ years of love and friendship
willing to literally kill and die for each other
fucken toothbrushes 😂
a HOME together
Wedding rings
and a fucken lifetime of walking through life together

A win is a win and my 2 boys are exactly where they want to be with the person they want to be with.

@Dylan exactly! TJ and YW, are the love of each other's lives and finally get to spend the rest of their lives together and that's all that matters!
