speed doesn't allow the same flexibility that a lot of the other powers do (like the ones u mentioned) bc its so straightforward, again its canonical that jiwoo steuggled more than others if ppl know whats coming.
Comparing his fights to armwredtling is actually really accurate bc they do come down to either 1- who has a steonger instance of power or 2- who has the stronger defence, as roist said before "its a simple technique but if you lack the power youll fail" (smth like that)
i also think its important to point out that jiwoo has SIGNIFICANTLY more combat experience than a lot of other peers and disciples. Again its been noted many times that high rankers and their disciples dont like to fight bc of the power shifts and reprecussions that can happen.
