@darksolace I'm gonna be completely honest I did not feel like this at all even as I got older lmao, I think it's very situational, when you meet somebody who is a consenting adult and do not like them initially I feel like it's much more acceptable, but to like them when you learn of their age is where it kinda gets weird. Once you get past the young teen phase, a few years seems a lot smaller than it used to, majority of couples with age gaps are around 4-7 from what I've seen at least

@lia 4-7 isn't a concerning age gap as adults, that's not the point i was trying to make. i understand where you're coming from because you're right, it is situational, and that's why i explained why it's different when it involves someone like a 19yo with undeveloped social/psychological mindsets. a relationship between a 19 and 26 yo is completely distinct from one of a 26 and 31 yo, for example. both have a similar gap but the dynamic would be completely different for the reasons i stated before. hope that makes more sense!
