Comment on ChapterCorrosive - Chapter 15
ya know, won technically didn't ra** seonho. was it coercive? probably yea. but it was technically a transaction. he wasn't going to stop people from raping the MC's group, but what does that have to do with won? it's the apocalypse and 5 years after the start. i'd imagine morals don't exist. you'd either give in, fight it out, or trade.

won said, if seonho gave himself to won, he'll order everyone else to not ra** his friend. he delivered. when they had s**, it was violent, but he also said he didn't know how to have s**. so if there's something seonho needs, he needs to say it. obviously, nothing was said. he also said, he would only let seonho go depending on how he likes the s**. which was also true.

the thing is, i don't think won is human so he a little insensitive to emotions, but he has always been upfront. idk. i think calling this relationship toxic isn't correct. it's unbalanced, but not as toxic as people are claiming it to be. they're not codependant, there's no abuse (beyond sexual (which, won just can't control his strength)), and there's no gaslighting.

ra** is ra**, but i feel like given the circumstances, characterization, and setting, it's pretty mild for me. it's literally an apocalypse story. so much wrong can always go in these type of stories and this is kind of meh.

and blondie really does look yandere. i feel like there's always a slight difference between possessive and yandere. and i'm feeling yandere vibes from blondie.

@lurker you literally gave the exact definition of r*p*. agreeing to s*x out of fear or under threats is quite literally r*p*. you can just enjoy something that has r*p* in it without needing to find a justification for it or minimize what it is. that's honestly such a weird thing to say.
@male fujoshi i'm not justifying ra**. i even typed "ra** is ra**." to be clearer, i think most people calling won a rapist and saying this relationship is toxic are very dramatic.

to say that it's a ra** story and it's trash/disgusting makes me feel like those people are not reading the story. this story does not amount to be only about "ra**." their relationship is not only ra**.

i wrote that it's "technically" not ra** because seonho chose this. he honestly was not even part of the equation and yet he put himself in, willing to fight a whole den of men to protect blondie. and won gave him a way out in exchange for his body.

and he wouldn't have been so violently raped if he had shown won how he needed to be prepped, but he chose that too.

there are many instances where seonho could've made it better for himself (not just the whole ra** thing. everything), but he chooses not to. i agree with won's statement in the beginning that if he continues like this, he's gonna get himself killed.
[continued]

why? because of the setting. if you wanna live without murder or ra** in your face in an apocalypse, you'd have to be strong enough for that privilege. and if seonho wants to continue to live like he does, he needs to be stronger or have someone protect him.

the reason why i said that the ra** is mild is because i can identify the setting and plot. also the fact that won is not very human like and seonho has a very strong personality (and i do love it).

their relationship is not toxic because where? because of ra**? it's a bad start, but they way they interact is not toxic. they are barely interacting beyond butting heads. the most toxic relationship so far is seonho's friendship with the blondie.

sometimes ra** is just ra** (i'm talking fiction). it's not minimizing it. it's seeing where it is in context of plot and characterization. some authors use ra** very badly in a story and other use it well.

the ra** so far is very mild because it does not give off a violent and uncomfortable feeling. instead, i think it's used to capitalize their personalities. later, there will be more of these type of things (i looked at the raws), and it made me uncomfortable.
@male fujoshi i try not to write so much in comments because i always have a lot to say in terms of story analyzation and how i feel about people reacting. but you've awaken me lol

i do not believe that won intended to ra** seonho.

looking at won's character, it seems he's very child-like. he's simple in emotions and does not understand how humans interact. he doesn't even understand how much humans need to eat to survive.

won has never had s** before. i don't believe he's done it with a woman either. he has no interest in s**. but for some reason, he has an interest in seonho.

i think he wants to be close to seonho and to possess him, to make sure he never leaves. however, i do not believe that he has any ill intention seeing how emotionally simple he is. any ill intention he could have probably does not mean to be as insane as it turns out, because he truly does not understand. he finds everything interesting and fun like a toddler.

also he enjoys having s** with seonho and obsesses over it because it's his first time feeling such pleasure. as long as he gets what he wants, he'll probably do whatever you ask him. his character could easily be used and abused.

seonho has a strong and violent personality. even before the apocalypse, he was violent. he's also extremely stubborn. even though he agreed to everything, it doesn't stop him from lashing out. even if he was dying, he wouldn't ask for help. but he's also very timid and soft hearted. which is why blondie can be emotionally domineering to him and seonho is okay with it. seonho can let go some of his stubborness to help blondie.

i think, more than the ra**, seonho is bothered by won knowing how timid he actually is.

@male fujoshi and yes, it's still ra**. but like everything else, it's not black and white.

this is fiction, so i feel no qualms in analyzing how ra** was utilized in this story. if you are a type of person that says that ra** is ra** and you hate it no matter what, then just don't read for your own mental health.

there are plenty of stories/shows with ra** and I just drop it. either it made me too uncomfortable or i felt like the ra** was pointless and offered nothing besides seeming to sexualize the ra** and violence.

my point with seonho agreeing to the terms is to say that seonho didn't have to do it. he wasn't at gun point and threatened to be raped. nobody was targeting him. he put himself up to fight (when most people would choose to protect themselves). he was offered something in exchange and he willing accept it. is it still ra**? yes, but he agreed to it, so it becomes a blurred line.

in entertainment BL, there's sponsors who give resources in exchange for s** with new celebrities. other wise, they can't get any traction in the entertainment world. is that ra**? but both parties agreed even if one party abosolutely hates it. the lines are also blurred here.

in both situations, they don't have to agree to the terms. just like the people who offer it, don't have to offer it. they can ra** them if they want without an exchange or find someone else.

won gives no fu** about what anyone does around him. but he stepped in for seonho's body & person, and even offered to help blondie.

which is why i said, given the plot, characterization, and circumstances, the ra** is pretty mild. it's mild due to their characters being like this. won does not intend to be violent or ra** seonho. and seonho's personality is so stubborn and refuses to be broken.
@male fujoshi also, a male fujoshi is called fudanshi. i mean, in case you didn't know
@lurker regardless of what you're saying it's still ra** and that's a fact you don't have have to justify it or minimize the impact. It's  sexual coercion; this means using power, threats, or manipulation to pressure someone into sexual activity they don't consent to, often by leveraging something they might lose if they don't comply. @male fujoshi is right and so is their user name fudanshi or male fujoshi means the same thing
@lurker you're going to lose your mind when you learn about trans people
@lurker personally, if i ever typed the sentence "the r*p* is pretty mild" with my own two hands, anywhere, at any point, i would actually end my life right then and there. awful thing to ever say.
@lurker   I'm laughing cuz you're saying that you don't want to comment too much but ended up with 4 essays 😅😂

Anyway, I think I get what your trying to say. Tho I does not support ra**, it is still the mc's decision. He was the one that brought it to himself.

As for the people that says this is trash, why do they still kept reading this then? If you don't like it then drop it. We readers don't want you to see you criticize the author work

Last one, if you are saying that we support rapes. . . No we don't, we weren't here for the genre, we are here for the plot
To know the ending. Don't misunderstand this guy's comment, he was just stating facts or his analysis.
(If you disliked my comment, then you're someone who likes to judged a book by its cover🤢)
