Comment on ChapterBlossoms of the White Night - Chapter 30

I'll be honest, the s*t was unnecessary. It ran over all the pacing and the rawness of emotion. BWAT's works truly are just s*t most of the time. Plot, yes, but too much s*t that it gets boring.
There was so much potential in this to become a slow-burn with a lot of emphasis on emotional gaps and devotion and love and understanding. Instead of addressing the emotional differences between Tei and Shuraka, Tei was shown to yearn for Shuraka sexually, which is just creepy.
What's most disgusting is the thing Tei said: "I'm so glad you've grown enough to fill me all the way here." What's that even supposed to mean? That's just outright concerning. I would even excuse useless usage of s*t, but this is too heavy to just shrug off. Additionally, it's creeping me out how Tei kept THANKING Shuraka for ejaculating. It's so disturbing; it sounds like a pornhwa.
It surprises me that so many people consume it without even seeing a problem. Yaoi has become too reliant on p*n for promotion; it's sickening. Romance should be more genuine than just body-to-body needs.
Anyway, y'all don't gotta agree. Just wanted to rant, since I've seen many people keep turning a blind eye to it, so I had to throw my two cents in.

i really don't know

@_.laire_.flaire Hi sweetie... I kinda mostly agree with ur comment... I am pretty much sure their "emotional" connection will be further on... BUT... u are very right in saying their connection/"relationship" is just physical now, which is...a shame..

-- what I just wanted to add... - the reason MC is thanking ML over and over again (which is disturbing, obvi) is probably that he himself still see as unneeded... He feels like he's totally lost his purpose from the moment ML dragged him back to this country... he's been feeling useless all the time... he can't give ML children (at least he thinks so...), and when ML's been starting to avoid him... he's been feeling just like a burden... so he's thanking ML not bcs of the s.emen itself (eh, that sounded weird)....but bcs he's "grateful" for being "worthy" of him... overall it's really sad, bcs we are watching a BIG man, a GREAT warrior, who feels INFERIOR all the time... I was happy the last chpt, that he's finally begun to act like a MAN... but now I feel like we're back to square one... as MC's still acting like he's "just fulfilling his duty"...

- in the end I feel that this whole series didn't really make any big progress in terms of the plot - MC + ML never had a proper conversation from the beginning up to now...so their relationship didn't have any step-by-step development
- well, let's hope that the next season will be more foccused on the chc development :) anyway, thx for ur comment, I always appreciate, when someone is willing to let their thougths out without purposefully shaming the story :)

P.S. sry for the typos, if there are some :D

@Terru_chan That's the problem with this. The author set up the problem in a way that feels misogynistic (I don't know another word to use, but I hope you get the context). They showed it with s*x as the only answer, whilst relationships where partners feel worthy and trusting of each other are way more than just that. Tei could approach Shuraka, or vice versa, and they could've communicated. At the start, it felt more raw and genuine emotionally, and I enjoyed it. Of course, development still happens, but (to me, at least, others don't have to agree), it feels bland. Stripping Tei of all he was, making Shuraka such a reckless partner throughout the intercourse, it feels like a typical trope where the bottom is powerless (even if shown to be physically dominant, Tei is not mentally dominant). Once again, people have different outlooks on it. But I am growing increasingly agitated by this reckless approach to s*x as the quickest answer to every situation, because that's just not how relationships should be built. Q*r media affects real humans, and it's f**g everyone up. It bugs me a lot, as someone part of the q*r community. Hope I wasn't rude, and thank you for your comment:D It was great.

@_.laire_.flaire nope, u weren't rude :D It actually made me laugh a little (not the context but the way u wrote it :D)... I am not sure if I would use misogynistic, but I get what ur trying to say..
-- and EXACTLY... the authors let us watch a big man to underestimate himself, to submit to ML, completely, physically...almost brainlessly... fr, MC feels like he doesn't even have the right to think or breathe...
-- MC - undervalued, disregarding his OWN true feelings/wishes, everything just to please his master (lol, husband....)
-- ML - blinded by "love", totally immature, mentally unstable (yeah maybe bcs of the "blessing/curse", but still...), absolutely disrespecting MC as a human being and seeing him only as his property...
-- neither of them truly knows what the other wants, thinks, or whatever
-- so absolutely, I agreed 100% that s.x i not the answer to get them REALLY closer... on the contrary, it can make them grow even further (in terms of their relationship)
-- and finally, I am on the same page with u - the beginning was much more promising... and there really wasn't too much happening :)
-- I am not giving up on the story, I rarely drop something... but I won't expect too much... I don't want to be disappointed again :)...
-- no need to thanks <33 (but I am thanking u :D <3 thx for the chit-chat, at least I can vent out my frustration and I am happy not to be alone on this :D))
@Terru_chan I know no better word for the context so pardon me😞 It was fun talking and thank you for taking kindly to what I said, I honestly expected very strong backlash. Take care and you're welcome>:)!!!!!

@_.laire_.flaire :)) nothing to be pardoned for!! <3 hah, that's absolutely okay!! U should've seen the hate I got bcs I found DTR (Define the relationship) kinda boring... :D so I know what u mean, some people don't respect others's opinions... I personally don't find anything bad about respectfully discussing the flaws in stories :) Thank u too, take care <3
