Comment on ChapterWet Sand - Chapter 54

Some readers here are trying to distort the plot, but the truth is that the difference between the characters is in intention.

TJ never meant to hurt Ian. He was there for him in the worst times, saved him from drug addiction, sacrificed his sports career and ambitions to protect him & continues to do everything for him and their happy future together. Everything bad that happened between them was either due to the fear of losing a loved one or Jamie's provocations.

Now about Jo. He initially only sympathized with Ian’s handsome appearance, but at the same time immediately began to condemn his lifestyle and connections with other men. He offered him friendship, but then threw a tantrum that Ian didn’t see his feelings. Jo also manipulated him by pretending that his fingers were broken to guilt trip him. But of course, all this is trivial compared to the fact that he took advantage of someone else’s unconscious body & came on his face, which looks very humiliating. This is generally considered rаpe since the person who faints cannot give consent. There cannot be good intentions in all these actions.

@MaryJane everything you said is so truepoco sticker team TJ all the way
@MaryJane Nah. Both Tj and Jo are similar yet polar opposites. They both want to consume Ian but for different agendas . Tj wants to possess and keep Ian in the world they suffered and made their way up in. A lot of history, trauma , sacrifices , love and emotional manipulation. Joe on the other hand wants to possess Ian in a mundane life but it doesn't mean he's not manipulative either, although not in the extremes Tj has transpired so far. All I'm saying is , fans try to villainize the character they don't support in a love triangle. Joe isn't a bad guy for Ian, these are just two intense men involving  themselves with a sc*** up who wants to be free from his past. Root for either but let's not villainize Joe as if he hasn't introduced Ian in to aworld he can simply breathe
@Mona T I'm glad that there are people who understand what is happening in this story❤️

This is actually kind of a spoiler but TJ came into the criminal world because of Ian. First, out of love for him (although he himself did not understand this) & then to save him. Taejoon refused the opportunity to get into professional sports and took up arms, realizing that he needed power and support in order to protect the person dear to him. TJ never asked for anything in return for the sacrifices he made, so accusing him of manipulation is stupid. It has already been said that being in the organization was a necessity because it gave the two of them the strength to resist their enemies.

The difference with Jo is huge. TJ never wanted to posses Ian & did not limit his communication, realizing that his loved one is not an object but a living person with whom he wants to spend the future together. But Joseph... let's be honest, this guy never liked the real Ian. He immediately began to condemn his way of life, imposing his worldview, trying in every possible way to prohibit him from sleeping with other men. Jo also manipulated him more than once, accusing him of lying, throwing tantrums, pretending that his fingers were still broken, etc. But yeah, the worst thing he ever did was how the brаt had the audacity to take advantage of Ian's unconscious body & сum on his face, humiliating him and marking him as his toy. Since a person who has fainted cannot give consent, it would be correct to consider what happened as ra**. This is what possessiveness means.

Like I mentioned before, Tj and Ian's relationship is made out of history, trauma , sacrifices , love and emotional manipulation. I haven't said Tj wasn't there for Ian. Thing is , y'all seem to forget the past chapters where Tj is the reason Ian went to prison in order to keep him from leaving the organization, the motorcycle scene that prevented Ian from leaving him, Tj wanting to possess him without actually defining their relationship, and Tj wanting  to pull him back in the dark world despite Ian's desire to leave. Their love isn’t the pure thing y’all try to make it be. It’s only a trauma bond which is made out of attachment from history, instability and great s***ual chemistry. Joe's entrance to Ian's world was a man reacting like any other individual who's never been personally involved in the darker sides of life ; trauma , murder,  promiscuity or drugs. He judged Ian because he hadn't lived his world . He didn't understand that world and he wasn't imposing his own world view, that was the author , introducing the difference in Joe's world. The "normalcy" if you will . A life with both parents, no trauma, no struggle with poverty , and typical going to college .This doesn't mean Joe is perfect for Ian, it means he is a different experience from Ian's norm therefore the approach is bound to be different . Tj has lived Ian's world but that doesn't mean that they are meant to be together just because they understand where and what they've been through . They're literally each others traumas in a cycle. Codependency, attachment, instability, longing, desperation . This isn't healthy even if it looks hot .

Y'all associate trauma with love and that's why most people end up in toxic relationships because toxicity and attachment (trauma bonding) is the only languages they understand of love. We are yet to see the darker sides of Joe which can mainly contain of obsession and possession but I'm telling you that in the end, both Tj and him could simply not be good for Ian .

Other than that,  y'all assumed Joe wore the bandage to manipulate Ian as if his bones hadn't actually broken. His hand no longer hurt but that doesn't mean that it was already completely healed due to lack of pain and he's this awful person in need of a tactic . Perception y'all. It's a matter of perception.

Lastly, if Ian ever felt that Joe was a nuisance and didn't want him in any way, he wouldn't have eventually stopped sleeping around with other men. He's a grown up, he can have s*ex with whoever he wants but he considers Joe's feelings which is why he said he hadn't had s** for a while because Joe  " wouldn't like it." That means Ian feels something for him . He's not being manipulated to consider Joe and he's not a child to be told what not to do. He may not be inlove with Joe  but he likes him. The cu*mming on the face thing is the controversy and from their first s** scene Joe had wanted to c*um on Ian's face. He had asked him but they had done so many rounds that Ian didn't get to answer. Point is Joe gets turned on by that, and c*umming on your patner's face isn't a hideous , dehumanizing thing. In this second scene,  I'm sure the author intended the  shock factor of Joe finishing on Ian's face after he had fainted to symbolize his level of desire and possession. It's controversial but each take depend on your overal perception of Joe as a person and if it's negative, all you'll see is negativity. They were already having s**, Problem is Tj supporters will villainize and nit pick on Joe's actions cause Tj is just this childhood kid who sacrificed himself for love. Please. Let's include every aspect in this narrative

@Loratte everyone else is hating but thank you as well and welcome I guess 😂😂😂😂
@phatputhycat that actually makes so much sense. These TJ supporters keep trying to make it look really bad but it may not even be the case (I'm not on any sides but G** they make it look so bad)
