@To Ya Bro, what? Ruby enabled him? Ruby had no idea and only loved him as her family. She never had familial love until him. And then she became scared and went into survival mode when she realized exactly what he's capable of and willing to do to her (with no explanation beyond "it's for us").

If you beat someone who has nowhere to escape, they are going to cater to your emotions and whims. It's not surprising, because you are literally beating them into submission.

Cesare wasn't taught how to love properly, but he grew up abused. He knows what it feels like. He knows how small it makes him feel. Ruby is correct when she confronted him. He's insecure and lashing out.

That's what it comes down to. He was beaten and broken down over and over. And he never escaped or overcame the abuse. He feels that Ruby is leaving him, so he tries to tear her down and isolate her. He obsesses over her because he believes they are the same.

He abused her like he was abused. Yes, he was taught that. But he also spread rumours that they were indecent with each other. He also decided that he was gonna murder a mass population as a distraction to kidnap her.

There comes a point where the history of abuse no longer makes it understandable. And abuse or not, he is a full grown adult. He knows the world beyond his house. There are no excuses. He is simply a lonely and insecure man. And he makes that Ruby's problem.

He needs to work on himself.

@sourlemons No I completely get what you're saying here, I didn't say she entirely enabled his behavior just kind of in a way and I get what you mean. This was also a month ago so my opinions have changed.
