Truly like why the h*l should she trust them(Vivi being the ONLY trustworthy one in my opinion) when they all on some level have shown mostly contempt towards her and over all been a**s. Was she rather clingy and annoying? Maybe but she still did'nt deserve the level of cruelty she got.

@StarLily501 I don't think it's black and white, just because she's the protagonist doesn't mean everything she does is good. Even she admits that her previous behavior warrants such reaction. Especially coming from a family they hated, you wouldn't want to have excessive feelings thrown unto you either. And the only reason they even retaliated towards her is because of the poisoning. If that didn't happen, they probably would've peacefully let her off. So get off the Duke family's back.
@suikerplum Pia you make some good points, what happened after the poisioning incident yeah that was warrented-i meant more of the cruelty BEFORE hand. and understandable that someone dosen't want excessive feeling thrown at them. Though it is unfair to put that hatred on someone just because she's from a family they hate(beofore the poisoning incident), things are'nt so black and white thsts true but but with the rather negative interactions they had with another I'd still say their nor trust worthy
