@Anonymous  I saw this theory on TikTok too, and it really broke my heart. I really hope the author doesn’t go in that direction because it doesn’t make sense to me.

I don’t want Shuraka and Tei to die. I just want them to live happily, even if they don’t have children that’s completely fine with me. I just want them to be happy.

this isn’t a rumor. The author herself clarified this on her Twitter. Here’s what she said:

''Since many of you seem to be looking forward to it, I’ll say this in advance: Path of Flowers in the White Night is not an mpreg story. However, it does serve as the starting point for the creation of that fig fruit. That part takes place much later, after Shurakawa Tei’s death, and follows the story of future generations.

The setting does not become an Omegaverse until after a new world has been established. The story is divided into three parts: the current timeline → the event that leads to the world’s destruction → the beginning of a new world. Each part has its own distinct setting and storyline.

This is still in the planning stage, but I’m also preparing to serialize the second part, which will cover the cause of the world’s destruction.''

so in conclusion From what I understand, the story is structured in three parts:
1/ The first part focuses on Shuraka and Tei
2/ The Destruction (a possible future story)
3/ The Omegaverse (Seth & Theo)

I also have another theory. I think Bandal, that little child, might actually be a descendant of Seth , possibly even Nashid’s son. He kind of resembles Seth too, with the grey hair and yellow eyes, which feels like a hint.

In one of the author’s earlier tweets (not the recent one), she mentioned that Shuraka and Tei would be descendants of the dragon, and we know the dragon refers to Seth. That made me wonder if the author originally planned for Shuraka and Tei to be directly connected to Seth, but maybe changed the idea later.

Now that she’s confirmed there’s no mpreg, it seems like Shuraka and Tei won’t have descendants at all, which I honestly hate. It feels unfair, like the evil side might end up winning. And I really can’t stand Nashid… 🥲and in the end I still respect the author and her work ,I’m just really attached to the story, so it hurts to think about how it might end.
I really think this story is heading toward a tragic ending. My theory is that both Shuraka and Tei will die. Shuraka is cursed and his blood is slowly turning into gold, and if he doesn’t get someone pregnant, he’ll die. The author has already confirmed there won’t be any mpreg, which makes everything feel even more hopeless.

Because of that, it seems like there’s no way out. What makes it even worse is that the curse might not only kill Shuraka, but also everyone he cares about. That means Tei could die too, which is honestly heartbreaking.

I still hope for some kind of miracle. Maybe they’ll find a way to break the curse, live happily together, and somehow get rid of the Eye of Natam… but I know that’s probably just wishful thinking. It really hurts 😭

You’re welcome, I really appreciate that 😄 honestly I feel like a most of people aren’t reading the story very carefully. They just jump to conclusions too quickly without really trying to understand what’s going on.

Both characters clearly have trauma and they’ve suffered a lot when they were younger and tso their actions aren’t that simple. And one important point is that a lot of people miss the fact that they both have family issues too, especially with their parents, which affects how they act and see things.

That’s what makes the story deeper. And since it’s still the beginning, it’s normal there are misunderstandings and miscommunication between them.

Plus, the author already said it’s going to be a long story, so I think people just need to be more patient, read carefully, and not judge everything so quickly.

Guys, I want to clarify a few things because I feel like many people still misunderstand Shuraka and keep doubting him.

First, people ask why Shuraka got angry when the pink-haired concubine slept with another man. Shuraka is a Padishah, so he must protect his reputation. This isn’t about jealousy , it's about pride, politics, and maintaining his household. If he doesn’t, he would appear as a weak padishah

Second, people ask why Shuraka didn’t kill the male concubine. He spared his life for his mother’s sake, not because he cared about the concubine. In fact, he feels disgusted by him.

Another point that people often misunderstand is when Shuraka says to the male concubine, ‘Was last night not enough for you?’ This doesn’t mean Shuraka slept with him. It means the concubine slept with another man the previous night and again afterward. Shuraka is inexperienced when it comes to intimacy, so he might think that this kind of behavior is unusual or excessive, which explains his reaction. For those saying Shuraka slept with him, if you read carefully, the concubine actually says that Shuraka watched him and not that he was intimate with him. If anything had happened, it would have been clearly stated in the chapter. So no, Shuraka did not sleep with him.

Finally, about why Shuraka killed the man in my opinion it was necessary. The man disrespected Shuraka by sleeping with one of his concubines. In that system, concubines belong to the Padishah, so breaking that rule is a serious offense. If the rumors had spread, Shuraka would have looked weak, and his authority could have been undermined. Killing him was necessary to maintain order and protect his reputation.

@Ded Fish 2009 When Shuraka says, ‘Was last night not enough?’ to Rahvan, it suggests that Rahvan was with another man, not Shuraka. Rahvan even says that Shuraka watched him and gazed at him the night before, which implies that Shuraka didn’t sleep with him , he was only watching. So I think many people misunderstood that scene. So Shuraka went to see Rahvan just to learn how to please tei , since in the first episodes, he seemed quite inexperienced and clumsy when it came to intimacy.

@ItsNotOverYet  I think 1.1 makes the most sense. Concubine Rhyvann is lying out of bad intentions, and Shuraka didn’t spend the night with him. This fits Shuraka’s character perfectly he’s innocent, naive, and completely devoted to Tei.also he is spent his whole life restraining himself, waiting for Tei. It wouldn’t make sense for him to do something that goes against everything we know about him.

@4Lifers  I know you didn’t say it was a woman. I just wanted to clarify because readers can sometimes think like that and assume that maybe Shuraka is cheating on Tei .That’s the only reason I mentioned it. But there’s no hate on your comment at all, and you have every right to express your ideas.

@4Lifers I think Shuraka is wearing perfume to cover the smell of Shiwana or whatever that thing he used to smoke is, I can’t remember. But honestly, I don’t think he could cheat. He waited 12 years for Tei, never touched a woman or a man, so why would he start now? It just doesn’t make sense.

@ItsNotOverYet  Actually, the author clarified this on her tweet on X. She explained that Tei tends to speak very little because he is a noble. Since nobles have to be very careful with their words, because every sentence can carry hidden meanings . Tei prefers to stay quiet. The author also mentioned that Tei is very straightforward, so he isn’t very good at wrapping his words like other nobles do, which makes him even more reserved. That’s why he often says very little even though we can see his thoughts as readers.
