@Lily I thought it was the other way around! Given that in the first episode, they said to call them 'John' outside instead of 'Joan' (maybe to hide their gender identity).

It took me quite some time to realise John was trans and Joan is essentially his dead name...

@Idrcqy No. She didn't actually die. It was a staged death using a drug that feigns death to fool that Guo Yun guy (forgot his title).

Fellow readers, please read it's novel version (called My Dear Miss Medical Examiner). It's way better than the manhwa. I cannot even write how good it truly is! Just read it and you will understand what I'm talking about.
Can you imagine if moms (Hesia's & Jolene's) were used to being girlfriends, too? That'd be wild.

It almost reminds me of Emily Dickinson and her sister-in-law, Sue Gilbert (married to her brother Austin). They were close friends, but after Sue became an orphan, she - as a young woman of that era (19th century) - needed a masculine/male figure for financial support. Dickinson's family was already well established thus making it a one stone two bird kind of a situation.
However, I do not support Iseul and Seonwoo's relationship, as it seems unhealthy and manipulative. Their expectations differ drastically; for instance, Seonwoo desires social status and stability (potentially by marrying Iseul's brother, Ihwan?). Their lack of proper communication and mutual understanding ultimately led to their breakup.
This contrasts sharply with Emily Dickinson and Sue Gilbert's situationship, in which the two women found solace in each other within a patriarchal, unfair world, sharing mutual love and respect.
Therefore, while I found Iseul and Seonwoo an incredibly compelling pair with matching social standing and an intriguing plot with a subtle hint of forbidden romance, their dynamic is far beyond toxic for me to even defend it.

I just searched "infanticide" & now I wish I didn’t (trigger warning: massacre)! I'm glad that the village met its demise for all of its wrongdoings.

Is this an April Fool's Day prank or what?!

@.... The one who is dating Ningwei is Tao Xingruo (who looks a lot like Jing, thus the confusion). She is the CEO of Ji's company (Ruowen, I think its name), so Tao asked Ji to mentor her girlfriend (Ningwei) to "reach her full potential" as she lacks acting skills. However, as Jing chose Ningwei as her student, it's hard for Ji to help her like she has promised Tao before.

@Kaylen Van muylwyk She most likely has DID, where a person has more than one personality.

Can you guys tell me what's happening....and it's kinda embarrassing 😭...
I'm sure she has DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder), also known as Multiple Personality Disorder!
WTF?!

I am pretty sure most likely this is her (Hyeon's) first time.

She is so me when it comes to food!

@luvkmj Indeed! LGBTQ+ people always have a hard time being themselves. Straight cis people don't give a da** about the qu*** community in general, but they want to join when events like pride parades and gay bars are organised for us.
Eve (the pink-haired girl) probably created this space to be a safe haven for lesbians; it makes sense that she would get irritated when someone pretends to be one of them and disturb the harmony of the community (albeit it wasn't nice of her to reveal Dahong's face without her consent). Given that it was part of the house rules, Eve has every right to kick her out.
Dahong is also either homophobic or confused, or both, as she didn't want others to know that her housemates are qu***, which is offensive to her housemates. It is uncomfortable that a heterosexual person (who doesn't experience discrimination) has taken over a safe space intended to support que*** (who are frequently harassed due to their identities).

@talkingtothemoon In conservative countries, friendships between people of the same gender are usually pretty tight, and the majority of people are too homophobic to even consider the possibility of two people of the same gender dating. Additionally, Koreans are also known for their skinships.
