the point of all this in the first place was to say that, while more could've been done to show the results of what such persistent sexual assault can do to someone, this isn't THAT farfetched, because they could've just pretended everything was okay and that nothing even happened. it's an incredibly slow burn for a reason. and you don't get to decide whether or not the character or another reader forgives taka, because it's from THEIR pov as the character/reader. that's the point i'm making. both of us are survivors, and my perspective on this is different.
and please, don't ever in your fuc**** life assume that someone hasn't experienced ra** just because they didn't tell you. "listening to you bit**** who clearly haven't experienced any sort of ra**"....that's so godawfully disrespectful, and you should be ashamed of that. i've spent day after day for over 10 g*dd*mn years trying to make sense of what happened to me, trying to understand why i feel so guilty about loving cnc, trying to understand why i have fantasies of ra** happening to me, trying to figure out of the secret of that event happening to me was a real, fuzzy memory or just a lie. i've cried about it because i didn't understand, hated myself for a reason i didn't understand, and felt disgusted with myself for becoming so hypersexual so young because of it. don't you dare tell me i never experienced any sort of ra**.

it doesn't matter if you experienced ra** or not--every single victim is different, went through different levels of it, and process it differently. maybe you would've had a way bigger trauma response from it, but he didn't. that can happen after going through the same thing for a long period of time to the point where you and your brain give up and give in to it. afterwards, while he didn't have a trauma response, he 100% pulled away from him and was even pis*** at hik and hated him for a long time. he didn't forgive him for a long time. but because s** is an intimate act, he'd never really experienced s** like that before, and it was done multiple times, he essentially forged a connection with him, similar to how a hostage may form a connection with their captor, or something similar. just because YOU wouldn't have the same reactions and experience as him doesn't mean it's wrong.

i don't think it was "VERY" unrealistic. i think at most, it was a little too happy-go-lucky and optimistic, but the time spent keeping taka from getting the relationship he wanted, the time spent of him actually learning how to not be shi*** and learning how to love properly and learning how to be a better person, the time yu spent rejecting him over and over again and choosing not to fully forgive or forget what happened and make him remember it--those are all realistic things. yes, yu should've been more hesitant and fearful, but taka's power was completelt taken away once he became vulnerable, guilty, and deleted the pictures. if your rapist has no power and gives you all the power, there isn't much room to be super fearful, only to avoid them as much as possible, which he did in the beginning.

i sorta disagree. i will admit that they do baby him quite a bit, but then again, not really. they make him incredibly pathetic because in reality, he is. and he realizes his mistakes and lays low to not hurt, alarm or cause anymore harm of any sort to yu.

i know someone who i've dealt with romantically who was a ra** victim (on the giving end), and while it did take a bit for me to ease their mind about s**, there were no big PTSD responses because of the way they processesed that trauma. that sh** was repeated by multiple people, yet they still don't have PTSD responses from it. but they do experience PTSD from other traumas. not every trauma is processed the same within a person, and not every trauma is processed the same between multiple people.

also, did i not just fuc**** say that i was SA'd? sorry, i was forced to do sexual acts against my will as a child, and when i refused, i was hit with a hanger and stuffed into a closet for minutes to hours until i agreed to do it. i was a child and she was a pre****. i was traumatized, and my trauma response was HUGE when i first encountered a situation that involved me to do the same sexual act. after that, i never had that reaction again. in fact, my brain turned it into pleasure, and now i have sexual intrusive thoughts that involve ppl r*ping me. which is an entirely different trauma response than your average PTSD response that is A LOT MORE normal for ra** victims than you'd think.

i personally think most of your repliers are being unnecessarily rude and nitpicky, but it is a little strange to comment that on a manga like this, where it's clearly for lesbians or targeted towards wlw audiences and is centered around a wlw relationship. it's fine when it's in BLs/yaois, since it's for gay audiences and centered around gay men, but not here. in a sense, you're right, he is lucky--sometimes the term "lucky" can be subjective, since a straight/bi man or lesbian/bi girl would likely agree with you, but in this case, where he isn't interested in either of them and is more interested in getting them together bc they're also into each other, it's not "lucky" and is considered odd to think that way.

not really. aya is falling more and more in love with mitsuki, and mitsuki just realized that she's starting to love/have a crush on her. they're high school kids who struggle how to convey their emotions in a country where homosexuality isnt very common and its likely both of their first times being interested in women. this is kinda...how long irl relationship progression take.
