@KeyShun

love your take on this. Personally I found there characterisations kinda realistic. I think so many manwhas and stories exist where everything feels rose coloured and like 'destiny' when it comes to love, but having emotional fluidity is something they lack.

real relationships aren't all 50/50. Sometimes the give more or take more. There are days you're doing 100 and getting nothing back, but that doesn't mean you're not loved. I think this interpretation of being emotionally unavailable and recognising yourself and what you need is enlightening in this story. it's honestly worth rereading. It's why I'm back here rereading this.

Well I'm glad i wasn't the only one hating this during the process. I don't think the author did it ...

I love this story so much. Even rereading I realise that I loved this dual reaction to the same kind of abandonment is what hooked me in.

both sieon and namwoo were abandoned in their childhood, both feeling like they weren't allowed to vent their own issues as to avoid burdening others. I think it's namwoos empathy at that young age that makes him different to sieon now. which is probably why he's too soft to get angry about not receiving enough love from sieon, which he has every right to be mad about.

sieon has been wired to think that he's nothing more than a pitstop, where he can shower affection to the one he loves and watch them leave with a smile. It's what he did with his parents and his mother, up taking a parentified role which passed onto his adulthood and masks all his anger and frustration of not being recognised as nothing more than a pitstop. this doesn't mean other people didn't love him, it just means that he never broke the illusion. Man needs therapy

Wet Sand - Ch. 55

It's nice to see what their relationship was like before.

Tbh this manwha kept giving me "back to school" vibes where the "obsessed ex" had a complicated tense relationship with the mc in the past. That's what TJ felt through and throughout until we got context of their situation. I guess there's been hints of Ian and his drug problem in the past but with how Jo is as a person, they're a little too different to gel properly.

this is probably one of the rare cases that having 'history' wins over the new love. Though maybe TJs approach could be different, he's still keeping a distance to keep Ian comfortable.

All in all, I don't think Ian is ready for a relationship in the first place. That man needs some time for himself without worrying about that classic tug of war between the male leads. also the art continues to slap so har

Why are y'all writing the time and date of when you start reading 💀...

I'm a little shook by how split people are in the comments. They're both sh** and have done sh** things but they both have VALID (not necessarily morally correct) reasons.

Peter, who spent most of his time with Jennie, felt frail and insignificant from his physical health, who never did anything for himself, confronted Jennie before her depression struck worse. Please understand how sensitive this topic is. Mental health is incredibly complex and soul-crushing. Do keep in mind Peter has also dropped a few times how much *he* wants to die from the situation. He's not well and hasn't been. He's being driven by the guilt Jennie imposed on him. Hes deliriously trying to make things right in his own way.

and then Philip. His world view has been limited since birth. He's never understood why people do things and behave a certain way. He can't be expected to understand how Jennies death affected Peter. I'm surprised people don't either. Philip has never experienced connection in a way that "guilt" could sway your actions.

they both need help. Understand the characters guys. What do you think all this writing is for
