I hate this. Why does Gyeol think with his d*k 24/7? Atp the author might as well just give up on the plot and string together a bunch of s*x scenes and call it a day if the s*mut is gonna come at the expense of actual character development.
@Nis Oka I was about to say the same thing. The plot is literally going nowhere right now. They are so broken and all they do is f*k instead of getting help or thinking/talking about a solution..
@Nis Oka You really don’t understand how a lot of sexual abuse survivors act. To a fair amount of them, that is something familiar and comforting. Is it a long term fix? No. Is it healthy? Also no. But these are two traumatized guys and I genuinely can relate to this.
@Ren Gyeol as far as we know is not an SA survivor though, and he is the one initiating every sexual encounter. In this chapter u can see the bottom is afraid as soon as Gyeol initiates se/x. If Gyeol had any emotional intelligence and compassion, he would at least take a second to think about how his actions might affect the bottom … but he doesn’t. He just goes for it immediately every time, even when he’s given resistance. It’s frustrating and sad
@Ren I also don’t say any of that to invalidate your experience. But what we are being shown here is not what ur describing. The bottom is completely at gyeol’s mercy. He has had basically no say in what is being done to him, and Gyeol doesn’t know if what he’s doing is comforting him or not. He just does it.
@Mary You realize that this is how he thinks to comfort ml, right? In the beginning, the ml would always have s*x with mc to calm down, which is why i brought up sexual assault. I never said Gyeol is the victim of the assault, just the victim of sexual activity as a coping mechanism. That’s the only way he knows to comfort him.
@Mary Go back to the beginning chapters. Mc is continuously used for s*x by ml after traumatizing or hard times. He began to associate s*x with ml as a way to comfort him, it’s quite clear actually.
And I don’t think mc is forcing himself on ml. Ml seems uncomfortable more with the idea of mc knowing what he’s done with his abuser, or the fact that his abuser will find out.
I admit that mc has left marks when stated not to, but saying the recent signs of discomfort are from the s*x itself doesn’t really make sense considering the beginning and the fact neither of them have therapy, so they likely wouldn’t be improving on their own.
