Yes exactly, not only that but they also completly removed all of her bruises and wounds. In the novel she was tortured. Her entire face was swolen and bruised and when she bend her neck to die her shawl fell and everyone could see how much she was abused. It was such an emotional scene and Killeon being the one to believe in her innocence felt so much more special. I also feel like they washed out how hopeless she was. It doesn't feel like she's walking to her execution. It was supposed to be the moment when all the emotional and physical abuse became too much and she finally gives up which, SPOILER:
IS the third stage exemtion condition. She needs to accept her end and not fight it.
This feels really rushed and changed in a way to put the spotlight on other people instead of eir main couple.

There is a happy ending but in my opinion the ending of the villains wasn't really satisfactory. We'll see how the manhwa does it but in the novel her brothers end wasn't bad enough for my tastes

They changed it in a way that Kilian is now more aware of the voice than he was in the novel. Also lize tried to kiss him and basically asked if he would love her if she wasn't with cliff. But kilian rejects her pretty strongly. In the novel it was the point where his loyalty to Edith was first shown in its true glory. He was presented with the choice of telling lize he would always love her like the 2. Male lead he was supposed to be but instead chose his wife and therefore completely freed himself from the original character he was supposed to be. It was a pretty important scene and they brought it over with a little too fast for my liking.

Her brother is completely nuts, he is in love with her but in a really twisted kind of way. In the next scene he will kiss her without her consent and of course her husband's sister (forgot her name) and the annoying bi*** friend (the blond one I forgot her name too) will see it. But of course she doesn't get a chance to explain because her brother is always next to her. Due to the rules of the tournament ruby isn't allowed to meet her husband and suffers a lot.
That's how the next few scenes go, but don't worry it will all be well in the end. I can spoil you more but I'll leave it like this for now.

They might put it in later but in the novel she was so sure Killian would leave his wife for her it was nearly sad. Like she even talked about being his future wife in front of him when the Duke hadn't told him about the offer yet. (of course Killian exploded on her)
