I was initially a little bit upset about Iida not being the actual guy Hono-chan is gonna end up with, but watching her utterly fail to notice Kanie flirting with her has made me change my mind.

And having a miscarriage while working in a battle ground is such a reasonable thing to happen, it's obvious the king was just using low hanging fruit to oppose a marriage that he already dislikes. But accepting that means accepting that the duke failed to win the crown's good graces, so we gotta put our idiot hats on and make this somehow be Maxi's fault.
