And did you ever have to tell them you have been raped by your uncle? Molested by your brother? He**, I don't believe you've never lied to them about a grade, or a horrible thing someone said about them. You seem like a child, I'm gonna be honest. You just don't understand and not willing to empathize with pain so severe. It's about protecting yourself and everyone else. It's good that you have never been in a situation where truth felt like it would destroy you. But they happen. You're stuck on defending people with little empathy because you relate to them. You don't understand how it is to not "be normal". Your mentality of blaming women and thinking "if they haven't told me, it's not my problem" is destroying people with trauma. You even brought up fuc**** Andrew Tate, an abuser and alleged s** trafficker. Is this how you care about the victims? Because I would rather be an open monster than *lie* about your care and then turn around and pull sh** like this. You're faking your care, and faking your understanding. If your parents really taught you not to lie, they would be ashamed of your actions.
I do relate and I don't need it to have a happy ending. What's important to me is that the story speaks to me on a personal level and is made very well. It's not a usual thing for me. I rarely can relate, and I rarely think the story is super thought out. That's what is important to me. I feel seen and understood by a story. It rarely happens with real people and yet. It's an amazing feeling.
It's sweet that you're trying to recommend something fun. But in a way that's kind of a distraction than anything else. Being happy by watching happy things is shallow. Even if your life is better, that doesn't erase bad things that happened to me. And if I have only those happy and healthy people around, I will feel alone. Because I am not. That's why Airi relates and loves to Hiro, and why I relate to the story in turn. Sometimes you feel drawn to the worst people, knowing they're bad just because you can understand them, and everything else feels fake and alien. They not only see the best in you but embrace your worst. It's a powerful feeling. Bonds you together at the snap of your fingers.
Your partner has a panic attack when talking about someone, and tells you not to talk to them. You genuinely have to be an idiot if you're missing it. Or just not care. And he notices her attitude. He calls it "not normal" and "broken". Great fuc**** person that one.
"When u guys have trama , u go to a therapist and talk to them and all that therapist does is sit back and listen to u , instead , why not go to someone who genuinely care about u , and confide in him .."
Tell me you haven't been in therapy either without telling me. Therapists don't just sit there and listen to you. They have skills they share that make you develop healthier copying skills, and "right" thinking about the situation. Loved ones don't. And you know what the worst-case scenario is then? They defend the abuser. They think you're a dirty sl**. Like Airi's mom. That literally happened to her and you're wondering why she doesn't want to say anything? Hiro literally had to beat and ra** that information from her. Her whole defense mechanism is denying herself the experience. You're genuinely a child if you're still saying "omg why won't she just disclose the worst experiences of her life to him, even after her own mom shamed her for it!". Like be fr.
"so how is he supposed to just get it" simple, get the freaking hints. She...
"so how is he supposed to just get it" simple, get the freaking hints. She doesn't owe him the full story, she's telling him "please don't contact my parents" and has an extreme reaction every time he does. She sets a boundary and he steps all over it because he has no respect towards it if it breaks his "family so important" philosophy. And he knows she has issues with setting boundaries! He literally knows she had s** with him only because she saw it as a duty, and overall got her agency taken by Hiro. Which means he has to know saying "please don't" is a big deal for her.
She doesn't love him, it's literally in the text. She says "I want to love him" but compares him to Hiro all the time and finds him lacking. They don't have either romantic or sexual chemistry and it's clear she doesn't like him like that, she just finds him nice and wants to be good for him.
"Why is she leading him on , because even a blind person can figure out how much he loves her!"
Um, that's his problem? Did you read the manga with your eyes closed? He proposed to her because he saw her and Hiro, and promised to help her. There was no talk of anything else. If he can't handle it, it's on him and him alone because he's literally the one who has gotten himself in this situation. Airi on the other hand was placed in abuse all her life. I don't know why you're dickriding that guy so hard.
Yup. That was heavily implied before lol. There were panels with older Hiro sleeping. The dog is tugging on him in the bath scene where Airi has a breakdown because he knows Airi needs him. Older Hiro observes it (we see him floating) and that's pretty much the moment he fully wakes up. I believe the younger Hiro was triggered by Airi beating Hiro because it reminded him of living under his mom. You see him being cute and innocent thereafter. The older Hiro in turn is pretty much always a control freak. But it's interesting that he tells younger Hiro "I was protecting you". Because, again, it seems like author-san knows their stuff. Older Hiro alter who's unfeeling and controlling is there to protect the "innocent and loving" side. It's sooo complicated *sigh*. I feel bad for him. Since there are 3 Hiro-kuns now, 2/3rds of him are very much redeemable lmao.
Oh and I'm pretty sure it was triggered by the amputation and he didn't have it before? At least there weren't any hints.
Also, I want more psycho Hiro faces! I missed them from the first chapters! He has such a fun design + personality to make creepy faces/poses with! Like his always smiling manipulative face! And remember the "tilts his whole body to the side" horror pose? Chills~~
